$2.539 for unleaded at the local convenience store here in Northeast Oklahoma. Post your local gas prices please?
uh.. over the last two years I am the only one who started a gas price thread... now.. day 2 of Trump... the conservatives are ready to admit prices are low. Oak.. you crack me up man!
Just saw $3.19 at the Shell station in Flagler Beach. There’s a 7-11 across the street but didn’t pay attention to their price … usually a nickel or so cheaper.
I live in Northern Virginia (suburb of DC). The price for regular ranges from $2.59.9 at some off-brand stations/convenience stores to $3.29.9 at service stations near Interstate highway exits. The Shell station that I usually use is $2.89 although thanks to a promo through a local grocery store chain (Giant Food) I usually pay a dollar less per gallon than the posted price.
Is $Trump planning on issuing subsidies (that can only be appropriated by Congress) for all the industries he expects to lower prices to consumers? Which industries are so flush with cash that can afford indefinite price reductions and stay in business? Oh yes, let's ask Elno.
Vax -- off topic my butt. How is $Trump expecting to lower gas prices without companies adding the necessary refineries and delivery systems to accomplish this?
The OP asked for folks to post their local gas prices. I couldn’t find that in your nonsense, hence it was off topic.
It's not that gas/oil prices are low now...it's that they'll stay that way and go lower. Not possible with Biden's War on Energy and reckless spending.
The ultimate irony could be that Trump's "drill baby drill" policy could result in the price of crude falling below the cost of production for US shale oil. This is what Trump did when it happened as the result of the Covid lockdowns which by the way was the reason that the pump price gas was dropped below $2.00 a gallon in 2020 a significant factor in Trump's support among voters in the 2024 election.
