Broke in where? As far as I am aware, nobody tried to enter that hallway after the shooting until much later, after it had been cleared of Members of Congress and their staff/families.
I've said it before to numerous downvotes, and I'll say it again. I wouldn't have had a problem if they shot everyone that entered that capitol. And if Antifa or BLM want to storm a govt building they can all get shot by officers too.

It’s also highly unfortunate she was so ensconced in maga delusion that brought her to do that. Just imagine if Trump didn’t fan the flames leading up to and during that day, she would be alive. He’s awful.
Right, he was probably the only officer actually in that exact scenario. There were the groups of officers with shields and such blocking the mob, they could have also been “justified” but more likely their actual job was crowd control and their training is to use their shields. I think other officers had more specific areas and roles. There was a well publicized picture of other officers in the one of the chambers with weapons drawn. They were ready to defend a breech, but we can assume the last members of Congress and staffers got out and no lethal force was necessary. Where the shooting took place you can see people moving about behind the officer as the nutbar tried to come through the breech. That isn’t even a requirement for his actions to be justified, but it should make it extra obvious even for those who would ride the short bus.
While I agree that his hoodie is reprehensible, it's not a crime to wear it. So I am not sure what relevance it has to the discussion.

As for the Capitol police, at least 140 were injured by the violent mob, with several being seriously injured.
cops that day went above and beyond. They saved the lives of our government officials, protected the country from descending into election chaos, and refrained from opening fire on the rioters attacking them. How many times have we seen cops not face consequences for using deadly force for far less of a threat? But LEO didn’t open fire on the crowd Jan 6 and instead got beat for hours putting many in the hospital. And in return, Trump and MAGA leaders spat on them.
What I find to be irrational is …… people who find fault with LEOs shooting and killing unarmed civilians…… feel the shooting of Ashli Babbit was warranted and justified without exception. Now, this may not apply to you but I know it applies to many of the lefties active on Too Woke for Swamp Gas.
I am not in disagreement here at all. But reality is...she was the only person intentionally killed that day. And her family will likely win big with the wrongful death case based on the little we have seen imo. That said...I am sure there is plenty we have not seen when it comes to the case. But you are correct that she put herself in the position she was in.

I won’t thread creep but no knocks are a whole other animal. Some on here know I train regularly with all levels of LEO. I’ve worked with high risk warrant teams( means reallllly bad dudes ) in Atlanta. Knocking on those doors is similar to knocking on a door in fallujah. You can guarantee nobody is going to answer and you will be on receiving the end of pistol and rifle fire. Dealing with absolute animals with no regard for human life. Don’t know how those guys do it on the regular.
How would the police officer know that the person coming through that broken window, which was the last line of defense protecting members of Congress, was unarmed and had no weapon on her???
