Hard to say. The RB position has really become less important to NFL teams than in the past. Especially for backs who aren't great blockers. Unless he has a monster combine, I could see him being a late rounder or UFA.

To be drafted as a running back in today's game, you have to be really special and he is not

He was on path here. What a putz. I never root for a young man to fail but I certainly won’t be caring.

His brother gives him some, maybe false hope.

I would like to think we deserve a mention. After all, he did have better stats with our team.

I do not know what the boards look like but if RB is deep, seems especially likely.

He's got good balance and vision. He's not especially powerful nor fast. And he can't block worth a lick. If I had to guess, he's going to be 6th round or later.

Kiper (yeah I know) said he had grades on 40+ RBs that could be pros this year. So even if he’s 75% right that still a deep class

will be interested to see who goes higher/has a better career, him or Johnson

Tape will tell the story. If it shows that ETN can't pick up blitzers, he will sink faster than a golf ball in a pond.

Good luck to ETN. Grateful he left and opened up the position to the younger RBs who turned out to be as good or better than him.

I ranked this post “winner” because it was one of the best backhanded compliments I’ve read in a long time.

In years past I might have harbored more venom for a player who transferred to a rival but with the changing landscape of college football I just think it’s a waste of energy. It is going to happen so frequently going forward that I just won’t have the energy for it. Even worse I don’t have as much of an attachment to our own players either because they can be here today, gone tomorrow. They used to be Gators for life in my eyes, now they are Gators for today.

Thanks for covering for me on that.

I will say he’s got some character issues he needs to get a handle on but probably won’t, then again he isn’t my problem.
