This is what I am trying to say. If the kid really thinks he has a chance in the NFL, then UF will be a better place for him because nobody else is behind DJ. If he goes to UGA they have one established who played in the SEC CG and CFP. They also have a gazillion 5* QBs they recruited that are no longer at UGA. What does mean? Maybe they don't like Bobo or they don't want them to go to their rivals. Or maybe it's all about the money. Whatever it is, it's à bad look for UF. I mean who handles UF's NIL contracts? Is it VIII? Gatorcountry puts out the news he's transferring to UF. Next day, it's not so fast my friend. It's a joke.
Wasn't Georgia this time but it was with Maddox. Same thing. It's a bad look but worse is the lost portal period and resources wasted.
I don’t think it reflects badly on UF at all. Many of these “commits” are just money grabbing clowns and I’m for kicking every damn one of them to the curb the instant they start this shit. Screw em
Rumor I heard is that this kid didn't understand what he was dealing with in front of him, i.e., DJ Lagway. What rock has he been living under?
Lol... I was projecting my thoughts on it, based on how the NIL and portal has worked to the advantage of the players and their ability to go to wherever they want, and get whatever they want.
Maybe the sec-sec rule is still in play. Surprised it hasn’t been challenged yet, if so. The first guy to challenge probably won’t get it turned over in time so maybe it’s just not worth the effort unless you just enjoy litigation and making wholesale changes to the sport. I thought the rule had just gone by the wayside like most of the other transfer restrictions, but quite a few people still believe it’s in play. Apk isn’t wrong very often.
