ESPN reporting that Carson Beck will not enter the NFL draft and will enter the transfer portal instead. Sources state that Miami may be the destination because his girlfriend, Haley Cavinder, plays on the women's basketball team there.

Other possible destinations include Texas Tech (why?) and Notre Dame. Are the rats starting to jump off the Kirby ship?

He wasn't good enough to win a natty. Porky probably told him to move on. He will make more money in college than pro.

Not a bad move for Beck. Miami just got a lot harder to beat next season.

His NFL draft stock is so low he can make more getting an NIL bag.

There’s multiple threads about it already, but it’s not locked (or merged for some reason), just moved.

How long will the recovery be for the elbow and how strong will he be in August? Also, how long into the season will he last?

Cant throw until March. Wont be able to fully practice in the spring. Will most likely be the starter for our game, after that who cares.

You may be able to win with a bad OC or bad QB, but not with both. Friends come first. Ask Mullen.

Interesting why he's not sticking with uga, I guess he can get more money elsewhere. It's all about the Benjamins.

Is Da U going to become the destination for 1 year mercenary quarterbacks?

That's a quick turn around, I thought I read where it was closer to a year long rehab for a baseball pitcher last year. Maybe that's the difference in elbow stress between sports though.

This is a gift. We need to send him out a loser this fall.

Miami makes sense especially with his girlfriend there. He is an important pick-up for Miami, but for some reason, Beck doesn't scare me that much. Miami will be a test but not like with Cam Ward.

In baseball, power arms can stretch out closer to 2 years until they’re fully back. 12 months is pretty fast. I was surprised to hear them saying he’d be ready to start the season. Different sports and different strains on the arm I guess.
