Should we be surprised that trump called Justice Alito yesterday? Of course it concerned other matters (can you hear me rolling my eyes?) Reminiscent of a tarmac chat between Bill and the AG iirc. Trump speaks with Justice Alito amid push to halt criminal sentencing William Levi, one of my former law clerks, asked me to take a call from President-elect Trump regarding his qualifications to serve in a government position," Justice Alito confirmed to ABC News Wednesday. "I agreed to discuss this matter with President-elect Trump, and he called me yesterday afternoon."
Trump supporters who sported this T-shirt should be pleased since he's finally a convicted felon. Although I was under the impression that he became a felon when the jury rendered its verdict apparently he's not technically a felon until he's sentenced.
Well since you’re into technicalities. He’s still not a convicted felon. Sentencing isn’t until tomorrow morning
My reading of NY law is that he was convicted when the jury rendered its verdict.: NY Criminal Procedure Law 1.20(13)-(15), a definitional statute.: 13. “Conviction” means the entry of a plea of guilty to, or a verdict of guilty upon, an accusatory instrument other than a felony complaint, or to one or more counts of such instrument. 14. “Sentence” means the imposition and entry of sentence upon a conviction. 15. “Judgment.” A judgment is comprised of a conviction and the sentence imposed thereon and is completed by imposition and entry of the sentence. Let's see what his homies do after the sentencing. They'll only intervene if they have to ( something other than a slap on the wrist or a commutation until after he leaves office)
Wow how bad must the other candidate have been in order to lose so badly to a soon to be convicted felon? Tens of millions saw more redeemable qualities in a convicted felon than the other person.
Only in MAGA land would a loss by a 1.6% margin be considered a "bad" loss or conversely would a victory by 1.6% be considered a landslide. Once again the main reason that the convicted felon was elected because he was able to convince enough voters that he could lower prices following four years of an Administration during which prices increased significantly although most of that increase occurred during a single year.
tens of millions don't think he did anythign wrong. they never saw the evidence, heard the testimony..they jsut knbow orange cult god said he was innocent, just like the J6 and document charges. the people never heard the evidence or they choose to ignore it out of fealty to their cult god
Yep they skipped ahead to the acquittal without any of that trial, evidence, testimony nonsense our justice system is based on.
Don't see the word landslide in my previous post. Also perhaps you are not aware on how President's are elected in the U.S. Maybe take a refresher on that and then you can update your 1.6% margin. Let me know if you need help with the math.
