By: Eric Fawcett -- January 8, 2025 After handing the #1 team in the country a 30-point loss the Florida Gators (14-1, 1-1 SEC) will get a chance to really get the momentum rolling when they head to Arkansas Saturday to take on the Razorbacks (currently 11-3, 0-1 SEC–though they will have a home game against Ole Miss between this article publishing and the game with Florida). SEC road games are going to be hard to win this season. Every team is good, some are excellent, but all can beat you. Gators can't have a letdown after Tuesday's big win. They need to play with the same intensity and focus, plus have Walter Clayton playing more like his normal self. I'm going to get excitedabout every game this year because it's going to take maximum effort to win one game at a time.
Really big game here (as they all are) with a chance to get off to a 2-1 start in SEC play with 3 of the next 4 games at home against big underdogs. This is (hopefully) the manageable part of our schedule. Not counting my chickens as upsets happen.
