Congratulations to the Gator team, coaches and fans, I added the fans due to students camping out seven hours in advance of the game. Undefeated at home so far this season, let’s make it the whole season! Go Gators……

Yeah, but they came back in hot and didn't let the lead slip. I think Golden wanted the 30 piece.

Best rebounding team in the country. We were good last year, but have taken it to another level. Chinyelu and Condon combined for a 50% offensive rebounding rate--that means every time a Florida shot went up it was more likely that one of those two got the rebound than the other eight players on the court combined. A good offensive rebounding rate as a team is something in the 30% range.

Analytics or human? If the latter, those don't come out until after we play Saturday.

Defense intensity won the game for us. After allowing uk to score 106 this team was focused. There is no question that playing on the road is going to be incredibly difficult.
We will have to play with the same D intensity on the road and hope that our O will never be as cold as ut was tonight. Yes we played great D but ut missed a lot of open shots. That probably won't happen when we play them in Knoxville. It would not surprise me that the top sec team at end of season will have 3 or 4 losses. Just a brutal conference.

Jason looks like an old dude (well, so do I). Great to see him supporting the team over the years. Go figure.

I commented after the UK game the Gators lacked aggressiveness either from adapting to the SEC refs in game 1 of conference play or they didn't want to get into foul trouble at Rupp. Tonight was different. In the first 4 minutes the refs let them play. Several times I saw Gator players look at the refs expecting a foul and stoppage of play, only to react by surprise the ball was still in play. Once they figured out this game was different and they could be physical, the gloves came off and the beatdown lasted the rest of the game. Given, the refs could have called many more fouls on both teams, but even the refs realized calling a few more on Florida would not keep Tennessee anywhere near to a close game. So great job Gators staying aggressive for the whole game. Now let's see what kind of match we face at Arkansas this Saturday.

I wonder where that ranks in terms of all time difference in points allowed in consecutive non-OT games. Going from 106 to 43. A 63 point difference from one game to the next.

Don't be surprised when we play ut again in Knoxville, the refs will be calling all kinds of fouls on us. They will not allow aggressive play and they will choose to decide the game. Refs will be influenced by a rabid ut crowd.
