Difficult to know whether he's looking for attention, flooding the zone with BS with a specific end game in mind, or something else. Most of what he can do through EOs at least can just be undone later. Also, the more time he spends saying crazy things is time that he could have spent on more substantive issues.
If nothing else Bill, you're consistent. No problem calling the insurrectionists who violently attacked the Capitol patriots, no problem naming American military bases after traitors. It may come as a surprise to you and Atlanta that some of us actually give a shit about America's reputation abroad. Sorry you two don't, but that is a freedom you enjoy in our country, no one can force you to care.
Although it goes back over a century naming US military bases in the South after Confederate generals would the equivalent of naming an army base in Upstate New York Ft. Benedict Arnold.
so are multiple other international firms us firms are drilling for oil around the world what does that matter?
Florida approved medical marijuana. Trump needs to get his card, down a few gummies, and chill. Imagine what he would say stoned. “Dude, I’m coolest of all cools”. More coolest than you so dude ahh,,, what were we talking about,,,, yea dude I’m cool.
A humorous X post…..”maybe he will rename New Mexico to New America” Dear Leader also discussed how electric heat makes you itch. his press conferences would be funny in a nutty way……..if he wasn’t our POTUS
The civil war battlefields and cemeteries are the history. Many of these monuments and honorary naming were done decades later, in some cases in direct response to civil rights so not even truly having to do with the civil war but more as a thinly veiled racial intimidation (esp the ones put up in “town squares” around the south). They are false monuments. There is truly no reason for a U.S. military base to be named after a confederate. It’s quite mad. Fundamentally wouldn’t be much different from Germany naming bases after particular Nazi generals who scored battlefield victories… a thing I assume they do not do.
Although it's part of our history and it should be recognized that still does not mean that men who led a rebellion against the government of the United States deserve to be honored.
