Can't blame the refs for this one. Both teams were called for 20 fouls, but we went 22-35 while they went 18-24. 13 missed free throw to their 6. We shot 3's at 12-34, they were 14-29. We had 9 turnovers to 16 assists, they had only 6 turnovers to 25 assists. Hopefully, we'll learn from this game that you can't give up long runs 3 times in a game against a good team and expect to win. Tennessee at home and then at Arkansas, so I would winning at home the rest of the year is going to be crucial.

Just checking in. Haven’t read the thread. Only saw most of the second half, but it seemed to me that midway in the second half our movement on offense evaporated. We didn’t seem to be trying to get open at all like there was no need to. I think that lack of movement hurt us.
Next year he takes over Will's spot at the 3, I believe. He needs more confidence before he starts over Will, and would need to learn to defend without fouling. He certainly can't start ahead of Condo or Chinny, so don't see how you can start him this year. I think we just need to use him more than just as a screener and occasional driver on offense when he is in the game.
Feels like the game was mainly won/lost on their 3-shooting and our FTs. If we did closer-to-good making FTs and they finally cooled down shooting the 3s, the game would have been different. Disappointing but overall a good game. Losing to Kentucky at Rupp is not a sin.
He’s got to keep improving that foot speed to play the 3. Lots of college teams (including us) play 3 guards, so I think that’s a liability against a lot of teams. Probably depends on matchups.
I was texting my friend during that that regardless of the outcome this team has a championship makeup if they peak in March. Length, depth, and a talisman in Clayton that can carry you to end if required. Tough loss today but take in these learning opportunities to put it all together in March
The one thing holding this team back from the final four appearance to me right now is defense. Winning at Rupp was never going to be easy but giving up 106 points is a surprise
Never thought we were going undefeated. Defense win championships and we will have to stop allowing the back cuts and open 3’s. Way too many easy baskets for Kentucky.
