Have to get more from Condon

He is missing a lot near the rim, and then missing FT’s

Richard’s was lost today offensively outside of put backs

I am just surprised how UK managed to out a team together like this with all they lost. Much better offense than Cal’a teams.

On the positive side, we have a great opportunity against #1 Tennessee at home coming up.

We played them toe to toe at Kentucky. FTs were the difference. That is the one thing that you have to do on the road is hit FTs. They made their's, we didn't. Great game, though. We are going to be among the top 5 in this league and get a 3 seed in the Tournament if we play the way we are capable of playing.

playing at Rupp is as tough as any, but also looks like they finally have someone who can COACH....and that's scary. If they fielded a team of freshmen like they had, we win this game....but we were playing against grizzled veterans and a well-coached team
This was nothing resembling the Calipari teams of past

Tough game for Florida (13-1, 0-1) as the Gators get their first loss of the season, 100-106.

Our guys gave a tremendous effort on the road despite the very early 11:00 AM start. The 2024-25 Florida team got off to the 2nd best start (13 straight wins) since the 2005-06 Florida team (17 straight wins).

Give credit to both teams for their excellent play.
    Congratulations to Kentucky!

Playing away in college basketball in general is tough. Most important home advantage in any sport.

I agree with you in thinking we can be top 5. If we can come out and beat Tennesee on Tuesday, we're in a good place.

I don't see the Vols hitting those 3's from all corners like Kentucky either.

Yeah, Daily Double Cat must be ecstatic. They are just going to get better as they learn to play together. I hope we haven't hit our ceiling. I feel like we are missing another big that can compete at the rim when Chinny goes out. Alexis is not it. Haugh is not it. Condon can only play so many minutes. Maybe that 7'-1" cheerleader on the bench can suit up this year afterall.

Score 100 in regulation and lose. Imagine the score if they didn't play better D this year and snag as many rebounds. Amazing.

A lot of us had us starting 0-2 in the SEC, so not unexpected. I didn't, but a lot did. I honestly thought we'd go in there and play some solid D and our senior guards would take over late. Boy was I wrong.

I think 1-1 is good. Our first three games are no joke. I'll take a split.

I predicted a 2-1 start, so that is still on the table. Knocking off UT from #1 would be glorious, as they did it to our 2006 team.

UK had runs of 16-0 & 10-0 in the first half.
UK scored the most against UF in both half’s (52-54) since scoring 55 in 1999.
After only 42 in the first half, UF scores 58 in the 2nd. Impressive.
When was the last time UF gave up 100+?

film review won’t matter. Really good teams will cut us to ribbons bc we are an easy defense to scout. Hell or high water, we play one way.
