Should just cancel the game. How many people flew in for the game and can't just get the airlines to change the date? They either have to ditch the game and fly back tomorrow or buy a return ticket for Friday. Hotels also won't just extend the reservation causing many to book hotels outside of New Orleans.

Cancel the game? That's crazy, because some fans can't attend doesn't mean a national qf game can't be played. Rest assured everyone affiliated with both programs wants to play as soon as things are safe.

 

I very much doubt many people who flew into Louisiana for a game where decent seats are $1k a piece aren't staying through a holiday week. Probably 95% were planning to go party tonight and go home over the weekend.

Also nobody will care as the real money is the TV time, plus there won't be refunds.
