was at the game, small crowd...that is one thing killing our program.
Reynolds needs to be more aggressive, like the people I were talking to were saying she could be a 20 pt a game person.
Mcgill has hit a wall a bit but still scored 15 and 9 assists. I wish we had more shooters. They packed the lane, we are still a better team then last year. Dont know how much that will help since we made a small jump and most of the league in the middle packs made big jumps in talent.

in fairness she was getting absolutely hammered underneath all afternoon, but her 3s were way off. I think she needs to get a full weightroom in the offesason gain that 15 lbs or so and that shot will be a lot better next year. Tough to keep form your freshman year including that training. Looks like she has grown a good inch or so since she got on campus. Talk to someone in the know that think she is closer to 6'6 now. She is getting very close to Kyles height to me.

Yeah I posted in the men's Stetson game thread about the sellout and how it was the mark about where the program was. But basketball has always been here a "win and they will show up sport" unfortunately. Only baseball and football seem to be able to have a bad year and still pack the house relatively speaking. Heck, the only reason were probably selling out vs. Stetson on the men's side is that I think people can sense this team has national-level aspirations/ceiling and gator nation is thirsty for anything resembling a title run in a major sport. I think that Billy D would have had trouble with the same feat given the same team, conditions and schedule but put opposite again of a football team reeling off championships.

The women's program has an even bigger uphill slope in that they've never established that base that will pack the house when they are doing good, because its so rare, but as you mentioned they both kind of cause each other. The small crowd in turn kills recruiting, budget and potential coaching hires with a financial and interest ceiling.
