He has played 9 a lot, too, but part of it is that he really likes Klavzar and wants to get him on the court. Sort of the Aberdeen role from last year.

Roster construction is very impressive. 10-11 guys that can play. Will have to lean on Clayton some vs sec opponents and Hope Richard keeps shooting like he has been.

Klavzar a very solid pick up.

A little sloppy, but when you're so much better than the other team and dominating then in all facets, it's hard to maintain razor-like focus. This team is excellent, but the SEC is, I believe, better and deeper than it's ever been and it's not even close. It will be a fun season, but there will be bumps and bruises along the way for all teams in the league. Just got to stay healthy, stick together and persevere. The cream will rise to the top in the end.

    Back from the game.

Kind of a sloppy start ball ahndling/passing but shot extremely well from 3 early.

D was pretty good but Stetson missed a lot of close in shots that made our D look ever better statistically. Maybe they were intimidated. Box score said that we blocked 7 shots but it seemed like more.

Kublickas looks like an old school pass first point guard. He made one JWill style pass in heavy traffic that ended up a turnover but I still thought it was cool and nearly worked. It is a fine line between fearless and reckless.

    Now things get real.

Good point @GatorLurker about KK. Several drives close to the basket and his eyes were scanning everywhere for a pass. Yes that behind the back pass caught Sam napping.

Wasn't the behind the back pass from Klavzar?

You are both correct. Looking at the replay now, it was at 4:31 left in the game.

Loved Dan Cross. From Carbondale, Illinois. He was the glue for that first Final 4 team in '94.

Yep. Alongside Craig Brown, one of the finest backcourts UF has ever had. Both those guys were seriously underrated coming out of high school. Both could hit the big shot when we needed it.

Good to see Urban K hit both his 3-shots yesterday. He needed to see them go in.
Also, I see that Urban is given the turnover in the stats, when it was actually Chins who was unprepared for his behind-the-back pass.

Sounds like my Dad. “The cream will rise to the top”. Stay healthy is a big thought too. The whole nation is waiting for us to fall. Elijah says what!
