Cristobal talking that mid season nonsense after wins against UF and FSU re: what program in the state is ascending It could not be more clear which program in the state is ascending and established with the right culture after today
I didn't watch the whole game as I frankly got bored the way they were just trading TDs with every possession. Such suspense. So I missed the Cane players fighting each other on the sideline. And I haven't read this whole thread if it has already been discussed. Looks like a good culture under Mario, with fighting and the QB quitting. Chaos on the Sidelines: Miami Hurricanes' In-Fighting Steals the Spotlight at the Pop-Tarts Bowl
After that game people talked about how great Ward was. They were giving him the Heisman. I said no way and that Miami would lose at least 2 games. He’s a good QB but UM isn’t a great team.
True but the Giants are gonna pay him to sit. They think they have the next Jayden Daniels. I’ve watched enough to Colorado this year. They play off of broken plays and athleticism. Sanders will get crushed in the NFL where most every team is loaded with the best of the best. There aren’t any UCF’s on an NFL schedule. BYU literally curbed stomped them funny watching a bunch of guys just crush Sanders collection of punks. If they didn’t have Hunter they lose 3-4 more games. That dude can play.
Without pushing other programs down. Finebaum wouldn't have much of a program if they did that. I do agree with you. How a person handles those situation is .....revealing.
Can't argue the losses. But, they lost to three decent teams with some really good players. They just weren't any better than those, which isn't the image their fans wanted.
I have not had in 20+ years, but grew up on them. I would vote for: Chocolate with Vanilla Cream Brown Sugar Cinnamon Strawberry Frosted
I like defense mixed in also. I enjoy a 1-0 in baseball and a pitching duel just as much as a grand slam in the bottom of the 9th. Many just wanna see scores which is why we have positionless basketball and three point contests. Every sport has made rules to manufacture offense to feed the impatience of the instant gratification generation. I for one enjoyed football when running games and defenses could dominate a game. I loved seeing Spurrier destroy those defenses but making rules so every offense can score isnt all that appealing to me.
1. I did not know they even still made pop tarts. Probably a good thing. 2. Was on in the background while I was grilling up some chicken and filets and potatoes for dinner so I was not really invested. Missed the fight. Thugs. What pride. Starts from the top. 3. I didn’t see until today Ward played only 1st half of the game and took himself out for the 2nd half. No way, not ever would I want to play with such an individual, he is not a teammate. He’s protecting himself for the draft, the money and more money. NIL has brought this culture on. I am so disgusted what these kids get away with. We as fans are the cause and victims of this.
I dony like it but I understand someone like AR sitting for a sure thing 25 mil. The insurance colorado paid for tgeir players alleviates that risk. Thing is, these kids are now paid to play the game. Ward is definitely paid quite well. While i fully understand that my family comes first, i just couldnt let my teammates risk themselves and lose and sit by and watch, knowing i could help. To me, it equates to a situations where my friend gets jumped and i run away and leave him to preserve myself. I couldn't imagine Tebow or for that matter DJ sitting while his brothers battle. DJ played half a season on one leg.
