Go for it but I can't quite dance on Miami's grave because they still had a 10 win season, plus they beat us - badly, and to be honest here they would have won tonight except for their selfish starting QB.

So, the team that thought they should have been in the playoffs, lost 3 of their last 4 games?

The more I think about this though Ward probably should have completely opted out of a somewhat meaningless bowl game where he was not going to raise his stock, I don't think setting the record does either and in fact quitting after setting a personal goal is arguably worse!

 

Sitting out and watching his team lose is what is wrong with college football these days. That is all.

Yes a 10 win season but most of those wins were in the ACC (Anemic Coast Conference). They ended the year 1- 3. Yes they beat us early in the season but we are 8-5 with probably the hardest schedule, we trended up where as um trended down and I'm sure you would agree with me our future looks a whole lot brighter.

 

I would say it’s inarguably worse. You don’t march into battle with your team just to tuck tail at the halfway point after reaching a personal goal.
