Dems seek to nullify election

My recollection is the Trump supporters were reacting to the Capitol Police who opened fire on them. The cops killed Trump supporters, not the other way around. Lawyer Robert Barnes knew it was a set-up on J6 and predicted on J7 that eventually we'd find that there were a lot of undercover FBI agents and/or Army Intel people there. They got what they wanted.

To hide what they did Democrats and anti-Trumpers delayed the release of videos that showed what really happened on J6. Eventually it will all come out.

Now, Vegas, how can you equate an op-ed with what Trump tried to do?!? I agree, the op-ed was peevish and ill-advised, but the scope and intensity of what Trump did in 2000 and thereafter was the worst assault on our democratic conditions since the confederate states tried to secede from the Union.

Thanks for the warning. I will be prepared when Dems/leftists try to follow the precedent of invading the Capitol with the intent of forcibly preventing Congress from certifying the results of the Electoral College. By the way the article concerns a scheme suggested by a single person I'm not sure how that gets translated to "Dems".

Contesting an election should not be criminalized. Hillary did in 2016 and many Dems said Trump was not legit. If we had election l8ke they're run in Florida we wouldn't have so many problems.

I know we "made up" yesterday but you aren't going to like my posts. I do believe what I say and am always ready to back it up with facts or logic. (You might want to put me on ignore. I'll keep reading your stuff unless you block me. )

 

The Capitol Police didn't open fire on Trump supporters. One Capitol police officer shot Ashli Babbitt because she had the misfortune of being the point person of a mob of deranged Trump supporters who intent on attacking members of Congress. Keep in mind that those MAGA Trumpers would have lynched the sitting Vice President given the opportunity solely because he was going to perform his Constitutional duty. By the way I consider Babbitt a deluded victim of Trump's campaign of misinformation.

 

Anyone in that violent mob who got shot had it coming.

 

Ask yourself this. Had Babbit and the mob made it through the door, would the police have reason to shoot then? Or, do you think the mob just wanted to have tea and crumpets with the Senators on the other side of the door, and there was never any threat?

 

Absolutely incorrect from a legal perspective. She was in the process of committing a burglary with the intent to assault someone. You don't have to allow the perpetrator to actually harm someone, you can use deadly force to prevent it from happening. You simply don't know the law in this area.

In Florida the rioters with her could have been charged with her death under our felony murder rule.

 

As if Billy would welcome someone in the same position if it were his house. I'm sure she would have gotten the same benefit of doubt.
