I pointed our the Sasha Baron Cohen case in my post. Roy Moore could not sue because it was ruled that Cohen's statements were parody

The Sasha Baron case wasn't the only defamation case that Moore lost.

 

8n defamation lawsuits the burden of proof is on the plaintiff and it has to be proven that the defendant acted with malice. That's a pretty high bar.

 

The former congressman wrote on X, formerly Twitter, that he would "take the oath" to serve in the next Congress and then file "a privileged motion to expose every 'me too' settlement paid using public funds (even of former members)."

Republicans want to release names of lawmakers accused of sexual harassment
