I agree. I kinda view it as Marshall has already been replaced.

I forgot about Turner. He'd be an excellent compliment to all the young guys at safety.

TY... Nice analysis. Just need a few more pieces and then the team is pretty much set.

I'm a Hansen fan too. He's excellent at what he does.

He's like a 6th lineman on running plays and when he helps on pass protection. Also a very functional receiver for check downs and play action. The team is better with Hansen on it.

Every rb we have gets holes to run through. Somebody is definitely blocking and it's usually the edges where we get those runs. A good blocking te is nice to have.

    Thanks D.
Army had a 6’8” wide receiver about 12 years ago. He did his military service and put on weight. He was an offensive tackle at 320# or thereabouts, for the Steelers. Our Jim Yarbrough was 6’6” and 258 way back when. He put on about 15 pounds and played a long long time for the Detroit Lions. Great Gator. Lots of stories about tall offensive ends who took their good athleticism, intentionally gained weight and had great pro careers as offensive tackles.

Im afraid Turner is made of glass. Hasnt he spent tge last two years injured with very little playing time.

I recall when Charlie Strong put Spikes hand in the dirt occasionally on passing downs and he was incredibly effective. Howard may also be just as effective given the opportunity.

I think he was hurt to start 2023 then played the last half of the season. I Believe he played in all the post season games which was three games for UW.

2024 was also his 6th season, so I imagine he’s finished anyway.

    Just guessing..
I do that from time to time.
The symbol, the emoji is sometimes the message, not the assigned name.
I have used the FUNNY emoji just to give a smile to another. I wasn’t laughing, I was just sending a smile.
Some have used the old Zipper mouth, on me, not as an off topic, but as a symbol…
I took it as their disregard for my eloquence. It wasn’t OFF TOPIC as much as it appeared to me..
A zipper over the mouth could simply mean
SHUTTA YOU FACE ( Italian for please be quiet)
Off topic? Not so much. Just my interpretation.
    Be at peace.;)

If I was a mind reader..I probably would read the board and just leave.
How would anyone know, other than the poster, 24.?
Not knowing anything has not deterred any of the previous 45,000 posts.

I hope he works on running with the ball. He looks really awkward when he is about to get tackled.

I was at a reunion in October and talked with a guy who worked with Alejandro Villanueva,in the Army. Had nothing but great things to say about the guy.

We were so completely dependent on Hansen this year, and luckily he was available. Next season we have Rillos available, so hopefully that will save some wear and tear on Hansen.

I like the way Tony Livingston finally got over the injury bug this year and really came on strong over the last couple of games at the off the LOS TE spot. I think he and Amir Jackson will be better at that position than what we’ve had since Zipperer got hurt. Hansen is an excellent in line TE that gets a key first down reception or two/three a game it seems.
