    well they cut the NY First Responder future benefits funding out of it. guess they will find a way to do it more efficiently, maybe at Musk run clinics

    NY1.com's Noorulain Khawaja reports, "The stopgap bill passed to avoid a government shutdown did not include funding for those suffering from 9/11-related illnesses…. The bill was expected to fund the World Trade Center Health Program through 2040. Currently, the program is only fully funded through 2027."

    It’s funded through 2027. Why should they include it in the CR to keep the government open? If they want to fund it until 2040 they should include it in the budget.

    So no one is getting any benefits cut by this CR, instead it can be included in a regular budget bill like it should have been to begin with.
