Kind of like the Deep State hit job on former Judge and Senatorial Candidate Roy Moore although despite his propensity for women under the age of 18 unlike Matt Gaetz Moore never actually had a sexual relationship with a teen.

 

Never as far as I know. Barnes does defend those wrongly accused and sues reporters and politicians for lies and libels.

 

The allegations against Moore weren't very credible. Moore's accuser admitted to forging writing in a yearbook. Moore won an $8.2 million judgment in a defamation case against a Democrat PAC regarding allegations in an ad. A judge also ruled that Moore could not sue Sasha Baron Cohen because his allegations were deemed "parody."

There's no evidence that Gaetz had sex with an underage teen that would survive cross-examination imo.

As for having sex with teens that aren't underage, so what?

As for the underage minor, did she lie? Did she try to extort money from Gaetz?

Moore did win one defamation lawsuit and lost others. The lawsuit that he won was based on an inaccurate political ad that used multiple accurate statements to create an inaccurate implication. Moore also lost multiple defamation lawsuits this one being a biggie.
