The fund is finishing up year 3 or possibly 4, seeing as it was started in ‘21. Not sure how you are getting to year 5. This is the type of thing I am talking about on this board. I see a lot of supposedly former Republicans that should be very happy about the Abraham Accords, trying to claim Kushner does not deserve any credit for them and intentionally trying to lie about how long his fund has been around to imply he was paid off by the Saudis. If you don’t like that Kushner took Middle Eastern money and it creates an appearance of impropriety, just say that. Leaping to “It’s a pay off to Trump through his son!” is a bit hypocritical for people that have claimed Hunter Biden is a legit businessman and his father did not benefit from his business ventures.

Do you want to get into a history of conservative populism? I do think MAGA folks like to think Trump is a conservative populist but that is only the closest thing that can describe Trump’s theory of governance. Outside of some trade imbalance positions, he really does not have any core beliefs outside of what he sees as his best interests. I’ve heard some folks on the right say that having four years out of power have given Trump and his core team time to come up with a more coherent theory on what MAGA is. I’ll believe it when I see it.
