I am more in your camp on this than Shanes, but when I heard him say it - it made me reconsider a bit. I will be happily surprised if GMertz makes a roster in the league.
What a joke! Cries on IG about UF not giving what he earned, demands guarantees as pass rusher when he had 1 sack all year, claims LSU is more aggressive defensively when they had 5 less sacks than UF for the year, gets his father to bomb allegations that coach Peterson is a bad coach (that Pyburn agreed to play for for 3 years) without any explanations, and gets recruited over for pass rushing duties with LSU getting Payton from FSU. No wonder that LSU team far underachieved their potential in 2024. That has to be lockerroom full of cancers. Kelly being the lead one.
I didn't care that he left. He doesn't owe us anything and this is the nature of college football these days. But if you leave, be a man about it and don't have your daddy attempting to clean up your messes for you.
I agree. Zack did say it wasn’t player related, but It does become player related, after the coach leaves. Zack’s excitement has one pondering tho.
I wonder if that would impact Gonzalez at all. Bringing in Another coach with receiver coaching background and getting passed over for OC didn’t sit well with him many moons ago. Especially with Mullen back at UNLV, although he could probably get a better job than that
He seriously left us on a cliffhanger that Hollywood can't even write anymore. lol. And you said it all there, not a player but could be player as well!
I normally would agree 100% b/c it did affect him way WAY back. But Callaway passed him up as co-OC so I imagine bringing in (possibly) Hartline may not affect him at all?
