    There were a lot of career firsts in Florida’s 33-8 victory over Tulane in the Gasparilla Bowl. Myles Graham and Alfonzo Allen recorded their first career interceptions while KD Daniels and Anthony Rubio found the endzone for the first time. But perhaps the most exciting singular play throughout the contest was a one-yard carry.

    Ever since that game in Gainesville against USCe where he stole the ball from QB Spencer Rattler... I was wondering if he could run the ball... like William "refrigerator" Perry from the '85 Bears. Ironically enough, Perry was born In South Carolina. R.I.P. big guy.

    But Desmond Watson is much bigger than Perry was. He's also very affable and extremely well-spoken. He's just a nice guy all around, the kind of guy you have to root for. So, congrats to him.

    I only wish we would have let him score on a short yardage play this senior year.

    Lol, I agree... that "Thighsman" winning night against USCe was a fun coming out party for him.

    This years team seems to have a bond that allows them to have fun and at the same time take care of business. The last four games have been really fun to watch as a fan. The camaraderie, the conditioning the discipline...it's all good.

    It appears we'll have some nice additions to the team, I'm also sorry to see some kids leave.

    Gripe: I hope Napier gets an OC and refines play calling/time management. Some plays should be ripped out of the play book.

    All in all, this has been an exciting second half of the season. It truly shows promise for next season.

    It's great to-be a Florida Gator, I bow in gratitude.

    Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all of our GC pals, moderators and families. Love up the family and gosh darnit...

    GO GATORS!:eek::D

    So he's been playing out of position for four seasons. Wow.

    As I’ve watched him over the years, he seems to have gotten more and more PT, when I figured he would be losing tolerance from the coachesand be riding the bench. He really does hold his position, stopping up the middle. Despite the weight, he has a motor and will—even in September in Florida. And his movements are surprisingly fluid. But no one can maintain that weight without consequence, even as impressively conditioned as he is. I hope he follows a nutrition program before his body starts giving out. I doubt the NFL is in his future—hope I’m wrong—but someone suggested the WWE. Even at a “slender” 400 pounds, he’d be fun to watch.

    He does occupy two linemen on virtually every play lately. Helps with the numbers game.
