I said six and six or seven and five would be a decent season with the schedule we had. We stunk it up at first, but came on at the end.

Like many on here there was a time during the season when I thought a Bowl game was a dream with our record and poor play, this turned out nicely to wrap up a season on a high note! Like the season, the game was frustrating at times but in the end we got to see a bunch of potential out there and we gave the seniors a good send off in a game we controlled! It is so obvious to me DJ is not near the QB he can be because of his injury which obviously hasn't healed, let's hope he comes back as a true dual threat!

Shout out to KD Daniels for being Johnny-on-the-spot with the scoop and score...

20 sacks in the last four games.... Probably #1 in the nation. I know that 19 sacks in the last three games was #1 so maybe 20 in the last four games is still #1.

I may have missed a sack towards the end. Maybe we got more than one in this game?

That's why the "must win" games are a lot of hooey.. Everyone said with our schedule, Miami and A&M were must wins.. In reality, with our team, they weren't.. Of course if we were a playoff caliber team then every game is a "must win". We can only make a true evaluation of the season when it's all over.

Happy with the end results-many did not give us a chance to win 8 games-and was close to winning 2 more-I think we can handle the tough schedule next year-DJ will be more seasoned, almost the entire O line back, all the RBs plus some good looking WRs ( The Wilsons, Sturdivant,,,VB3,,) Smack is back, defense coming together..need a few more pieces from the portal..I am looking forward to next year-definitely renewing my season tickets..

I think our position coaches are starting to mesh well together as a team unit. I don't think we have a bad coach on the team.

But losing to those two makes it seem like you probably won't beat old Miss or LSU either

Absolute records don't tell the whole story so the way we got to 8 and 5 made It more "acceptable" to me. Definitely more enjoyable finish than any other 8 and 5 record we've had.

The flip side to that is that we got to 8 and 5 while laying 2 eggs and giving another game away. That also doesn't count the bad injury luck that took away our chance against Georgia. If anything, that shows that a 1 or 2 loss season wasn't an unreasonable expectation given what we had returning. We just came out unprepared. Hope we got it sorted and start out the season next year the way we finished.

But we did beat ole miss and lsu. the whole concept of "must win" in context with our schedule was that there were certain games we should win, and other games we would lose. Every year is different, and each team jells at and peaks at a different time.

I was disappointed with the Miami and a and m games, those were gut wrenching-but I kept going to games-wasn't going to give up on our team win or lose-I love our Gators-been following them since I was a kid (Graves was our coach) and I am not going to stop going to games-no matter what or who our coach is-I support our coaches till they are no longer our coaches..

After all that has transpired in the last three years, it was strange wishing that your offense could be as efficient as your defense.

We finally made it back to the level of Zook, only took 3 years!

I kid, I kid!:) I'm thrilled that we got to 8 wins! Before the season, I thought 9 regular season wins were possible but after the bad start I wasn't believing we could even make it to 6.

There IS a burst that Daniels has that I don’t see out of the other current RB’s on the roster if i’m being honest.

Not Trell, Webb, Baugh, or Jackson

What is Napier's problem? Only scoring 33 against Tulane while allowing 8 to their backup QB? HE HAS NO KILLER INSTINCT! He can't even score 50 on a bad program.

That backfield is LOADED for next season. Daniels seems to be a perfect change of pace tail back. The others are very good classic RB's.
