    Why a Florida kid would want to go to the Pacific Northwest and make their family travel all the way across the country is beyond me.

    And apparently, it was beyond him as well after further reflection.

    I lived for 30 years in Portland, Oregon and there's nothing special about Eugene! Besides, it rains 9 months out of the year, and the gray sky and rain gets old!
