Nice. I wanted the big guy from UK, but Sturdivant looks the same. This stuff moves quick. I woke up today with UF needing a couple big deep theat WRs. Going to bed with both spots filled.
Oh, I agree... the only reason I even mentioned it was because someone thought his stats were a bit light.
Sturdivant is an elite mixture of size, speed (10.39 in high school) and hands. His mother is a hall of fame track star and his father played professionally. (His uncle was Floyd Little) His stats so far have not totally match his obvious attributes, but he was on the Freshman All-American team his redshirt season. I suspect he will prosper with a QB talent such as D.J., but as always is the case… time will tell.
Florida has their replacement for Elijhah Badger in J.Michael Sturdivant. Per Nick Marcinko. Sturdivant has combined for 17 contested catches at an above 45% success rate over the last three seasons. Badger had 23 during that span at around a 48% clip.
I would be concerned that he isn’t getting any separation, but the fists full of jersey the USC defenders had likely prevented that. Those hands are simply sticky though!!!
