Looks like he's deleted most of his Instagram posts. What did he say that was an issue?

Serious question.

He never blamed lack of playing time, or coaching, or anything else. All of that was stuff posted by others.

My take was he felt under appreciated, i.e, underpaid.

If Pyburn saw player X getting $500k, and player Y getting $500k, and he's not getting a big pay day, that just might make him unhappy.

There was no mention of problems with UF or the coaches, and Napier spoke very highly of him as he exited.

 

This isn't blackmail. Its negotiation and if an organization believes that in this no-string portal era, that is akin to blackmail, then they are going to fare poorly in this new paradigm. Everyone can leave now for any reason. Players also need to understand that its possible to overplay your hand and get left out in the cold.

 

FWIW, Billy comes across as welcoming the challenge of the new era in college football. Maybe it’s just coach speak, but the positive attitude beats the whining from the likes of Saban, Franklin, and others

Ole Miss wasn't really Pyburn, it was the DT being stout and pushing Pegues to the ILB I short yardage. Graham had a memorable tackle on him.

Looking at it, Daddy Pyburn might be onto something. It's not just Pyburn and Searcy. Half the room has trasnfered out. It's gone from probably the best and deepest position group on the team to a group that needs 2 to 3 more guys including someone that's ready to play in the SEC.
