Tired of people looking for reasons to be negative. We scored the last 8, were 13-3 in points and outrebounded them 8-1 to finish the game.We did what we have done every game to put it away. Go on an insane run before it's over. This team is never out of it.
I haven't had a chance to read -- what did Golden say about not calling a timeout sooner to start the half? learning exercise, see if the kids can figure it out on their own playing at a tough neutral environment? no doubt these games/environments prepare you for march
Yep, and I love that! But my point was about his scoring near the rim. He's only scratching the surface of what he could do.
I know, and not saying you aren’t right. But I do hate it whenever we complain about fouls and the announcers favoring the other team. By the way, every single fan base has this same issue…..I will guarantee even UNC will have people complaining that we got away with stuff, and the announcers were slobbering over the Gators.
Yes, the handsy aspect might prepare us when we play UK, UT, and Bama, all who constantly have their hands all over opponents, particularly when they play at home. It is a huge advantage when not called. I wish the officials would meet with the coaches of these teams before tip and warn them this will not be allowed. Of course, that would never happen.
Condon also made a great pass to Clayton driving down the baseline. I was thinking wow, more often that kind of pass in traffic is blocked or stolen.
Agree 100%. I always listen to the Gator radio network with Lee Humphries and Co. and they were livid about the putrid officiating from about 5 min. in until the end of the game Great win for the Gators!!
Jeff Goodman says we have the best backcourt in the country. This was a fun interview with some good analysis after (and before.) Make sure you hear Alijah's last two words.
One of the best breakdowns of the closeout of the game. She points out turnovers down the stretch, something I hadn't seen mentioned.
