Yes their name has to be in but they do not have to commit. But.... Most academic semesters start Jan 5th-15th so they will have to be enrolled at the school they commit to. So that becomes a problem for players that are in the semifinals(Jan 9th/10th) and championship game(20th).

 

I always thought it was a reach to think the $26 million bailout was diverted towards NIL. So they were ready to buy Napier out and when SS nixed that idea, they said "let's buy him a bunch of good players?" Why would they invest money in the guy they were ready to fire?
