The more I watch Martin's game, the more it reminds me of Marcus Smart when he played with the Celtics. Physical, great defender and decent shooter.
There were a couple he should have passed up, but I was okay with most of them. He eventually hit one of the biggest of the game.
I'd like to see him drive more often. His turn around jumper is nails. He and Clayton should be taking more mid range.
His mid range "fade away" is lethal. He is also killer on that baseline three. Not to mention his rugged drives to the rim. What an acquisition and fit for this team, kudos to Golden for getting him!
He defintely has a competitive attitude… got hammered in the media for this move. But he is a really nice kid.
