I know wingtee. He was a Gator athlete in the Dark Ages when neither the football nor the basketball team had ever won a conference championship. And neither one would for more than a decade after he graduated. That includes the basketball conference tournament where Georgia Tech had won one and we hadn't.

His pessimism is very understandable. I get it.

But in many ways it would be like a Boston Red Sox fan complaining.
