Florida vs. North Carolina in Jumpman Invitational

me and my 3 sons got comped tickets lower bowl directly across from the UF bench. Hopefully we can be have the opportunity to harrass a bunch of UNC fans throughout the game, may even go to the womens game

I'll be in the upper deck with my father in law wearing my Rowdy Reptiles shirt from college over a decade ago.

I don't think UNC is looking forward to this one.

I think we are capable of beating UNC soundly.
My biggest caution of this game is it will figuratively be a home game for the heels. I'm interested to see how our GatorBoyz handle playing in front of a hostile crowd.

 

I'm glad it'll be a hostile environment. Bring it on! It'll get us ready for some nasty SEC gyms.

 

Great test! UNC will be right up there in the ACC. Great chance to add another resume boosting win! Just keep Davis in check and I feel good

 

I would assume the Gators will be favored, but UNC will likely be the toughest team the Gators have yet faced. And indeed it should be a rather hostile environment, so this will be a solid pre-SEC challenge.

 

I don't expect them to fold like most of our opponents have. I hope we're challenged and respond well. In Clayton, Martin, Condon and Haugh we have 4 certain warriors. Others show potential.

 

According to a recent UNC grad I worked out with today, this UNC team is still finding themselves. According to him, they have a freshman phenom, but lack a strong frontcourt. We shall see.....

I still keep in my memory of Chandler Parsons hitting the nearly length of court heave to beat NC State.
Four rows up behind the goal where the ball went through the net. Also on the end of the row where the Gators ran off the court. Sold out crowd of silent humans, except for a few Gator fans. A treasured memory!

 

If I had to guess I think Florida will be favored by a few points. Let's say -3.
