Pretty good half. D played well. Got hot with 3s early, but bad decisions and turnovers keeping ASU in it. More Martin, less Aberdeen, please.

Aberdeen and Condon both had subpar first halves. Richard has 4 of the team's 8 turnovers. To me after Hurley got T-d up, the refs started calling things tighter on Florida, which hurt our defensive effort some. Dominating the boards by 10. Our 3 starting guards have 32 of the 41 points. Need more contribution from the bigs in the 2nd half.
Stay aggressive and focused the 2nd half, cut down on the turnovers and getb the bigs more involved a little more and we'll win this one.

 

Condon was missing several shots at the basket

 

At the game... Hurley is so out of control. It's non-stop. So animated and out on the court at nearly every moment... it's distracting.

 

Yeah, they were challenged but he should have made a couple.

 

If we cut down on live ball turnovers leading to transition ball we will be fire.

Aberdeen is everyone's favorite player to criticize this year, lol. Kid has been outstanding defensively. Just getting too deep on drives against Quaintance.

Generally, a great first half against a good time. We have executed the defensive plan to perfection. Taking away threes and forcing their bigs to convert against our length. Only .865 points per possession. Working like a charm.

Offensively, our bigs have not converted well and we've had too many live ball turnovers (4 alone for Richard). But our guards have been outstanding.
