RayGator's Annual Army Navy Game Memorial OGT

The thing I remember most about the Army-Navy game was when Paul Dietzel, former LSU HC, was the HC at Army. At LSU he had a defensive unit called the Chinese Bandits. So someone had the brilliant idea of having West Point cadets wear some kind of coolie hats and wave some sort of Chinese pom-poms during the Army-Navy game. The TV broadcast showed Air Force General Curtis LeMay in the crowd chomping his cigar and fuming at the spectacle.

 

Navy leads, 62–55–7, so I'll be pulling for Army.

 

Kind of weird that Navy has the Jolly Roger insignia on their uniform.

 

Army is wearing their American flag facing the correct way... I LOVE THAT...

Screw that backwards American flag patch that Nike pimps out on their clothes. Patches do NOT flap in the wind... Lol.

I forgot to mention, that earlier in the game, Gary and Brad were comparing that Army QB to Tim Tebow... and I was literally laughing out loud... please.

Does anyone know why the navy quarter back has an 82nd patch on his uniform?

 

I'm not a fan of running up the middle from a bunch-set, unless it's for short yardage.

 

So far... the Navy coach has called a better game than Army.
