I’ll take a stab at it, but this is one of those ugly truth moments. Well, my friend there is a Marine, like my good self (before I became a Soldier), and Marines understand better than any other armed service that the Army and Navy don’t have football teams, West Point and Annapolis do. And except for those few Marines who went to one or the other, those are just two schools that Marines didn’t go to and whose athletic programs they just don’t care about. Do those two schools commission officers for the armed forces? Yes. Does almost every other university in the U.S. do the same? Yep. That’s where those color guards come from, their ROTC programs. And like every other commissioning program, service academies deliver really exceptional officers … and real jerk-offs, too. Pound for pound, more service personnel will tell you that you aren’t getting a better product out of the academies, just the same at higher cost. So, speaking only for self, I will echo your “Go [West Point]! Beat [Annapolis]!” But only because I came across more jerk-offs in my day from the latter than from the former.
GO ARMY!!!! Dad was Army, (82ND Airborne, Green Beret, 7TH Special Forces) I respect ALL military branches though. At the end of the day we're all on the same team. GO GATORS!!!!

Army is wearing their American flag facing the correct way... I LOVE THAT... Screw that backwards American flag patch that Nike pimps out in their clothes. Patches do NOT flap in the wind... Lol.
