If they have temp status, how can they be here illegally? Also remember, when Biden took office, Title 42 Remain in Mexico was in place. It was a pandemic only order, and as soon as the pandemic lifted, the immigrants no longer were required to remain in Mexico. Instead, they could come and legally request asylum.
I wouldn't put it beyond Trump to withdraw their temporary protected status in effect terminating their legal status and making them eligible for deportation. The guy had lived in the US for 20 years, was married to an American citizen, had two US citizen children and a six figure income as a construction project manager. I think you're going to be disappointed when Trump doesn't mass deport all the illegal aliens. That was just a campaign promise to get people like you excited.
