Unlike all those, voice of America actually is literal “state sponsored” media so in a way it is expected to be propaganda. It was originally created by the U.S. govt to offer another alternative to Nazi propaganda sources being broadcast into Europe. It was a WW2 era creation. It’s not something I’ve ever paid attention to so I couldn’t really say how much they’ve deviated from straight news reporting in the past. I’m sure during WW2 and other wars they probably dipped their toes into Pro-America propaganda. I’m honestly not sure of their effectiveness or necessity, I doubt they are cutting through into Russia or China where the state locks down reporting and may even block them. So unless it’s someone listening to old school radio V.O.A may not even actually be able to reach the intended audience as it was when they were created (back then, essentially a battle of state media radio broadcasts).

It was originally designed as pro-America propaganda against Nazi and Cold War foes. Sounds like in more recent years it’s become more like PBS. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. I can’t say I know much about their viewing/listening audience. Trump will probably turn it into a place to peddle ED pills into foreign markets.
