Jack Plyburn Outlandish Demands

Guarantees, that's the issue. He played great this season, and the defense was better once he started seeing the field more, but you can't guarantee him playing time because someone else might outplay him and be more deserving in the future.

 

Funny how some are skeptical to believe he could do something like this, I guess since he doesn’t fit their profile of the usual arrogant, entitled, greedy athlete. He’s no different from the rest of them. Good riddance, he can and will be replaced.

 

OP might want to delete this thread. ET already posted about threads about current players and rumors. At this point none of that is confirmed. Once he's gone then it's fair game. Take it or leave it. Don't shoot the messenger

If true, and i suspect your right, I doubt Bateman would be thrilled with him putting demands out there. I would guess A&M offered him an amount similar and he chose to overplay his hand hoping he could get guarantees and stay.

 

More upset at the article/media than at the player making outlandish demands. Misguided frustration LOL

 

In a negotiation, there are no “outlandish” demands. Ask for whatever you want, someone might just give it to ya- TA&M?

What would have been outlandish is if UF/CBN agreed to those terms.

 

It's business, don't take it personally. If someone is offering that to him, why would he turn it down? Seriously, you would?
