Grassley says future FBI directors should "learn a lesson from Wray's mistakes"

Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa, the incoming chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said that future FBI directors should “learn a lesson from Wray’s mistakes” following Chris Wray’s resignation on Wednesday.

“Wray’s departure is an opportunity for a new era of transparency and accountability at the FBI. Future FBI Directors ought to learn a lesson from Wray’s mistakes. Stonewalling Congress, breaking promises, applying double standards and turning your back on whistleblowers is no longer going to cut it,” he said in a statement.

The only lesson is that it's not a good idea to displease Donald Trump. In a Trump Administration absolute loyalty to the Dear Leader takes precedence over the rule of law.

While the libs may not be happy that Trump won the election they're not going to violently invade the Capitol to prevent the certification of the election results and MSNBC despite the excuses and hand wringing from its infotainment stars hasn't been floating the false narrative that Harris really won the election and that it was stolen from her through massive albeit nonexistent voter fraud. Seems that the libs are handling Trump's victory much more rationally than the MAGATs handled Biden's victory four years ago.

Us sane rational people can't understand why anyone would ever support such a lousy excuse for a human being and are concerned what the traitorous pos and his sycophants will do to a country we care about.

Spent 6 days in Paris and on day 4 in London right now. People I have met and talked with all ask wtf is America thinking ?

It's a shame you don't love your country more than vindictiveness.

"MISTAKES?" These elected officials have a way of minimizing everything they do in government. Lives, many lives, were ruined because of Christopher Wray and his communist dictates and weaponization of the FBI. He must face justice.

How was Paris? I had a local trash talking it the other day. Not really convincing me to visit.

I’ll always remember the bashing of Comey once Trump took office, and him being replaced by Wray. This was before the great Too Hot exodus, so the minister of information was still here. Wray later released some report, and I remember MOI endorsing Wray’s argument by writing, “I think we can all agree that Wray has his head screwed on straight.” And now here we are a few years later, arguing about how badly he needs to be replaced. Seems inevitable at this point.

It's obvious; he's going to make America great again, again. By doing all that stuff he failed to do his first time.

You'd think that would be especially true of those who, like me, were in the military and constantly reminded to respect the Constitution and to appreciate that country always comes before politics. No one who served in the military should ever support a man like Trump, who transparently puts himself and his cronies over country.

Cold, but enjoyable. Versailles is stunning and so full of history. Our third time to Paris and I think we have hit all the highlights now. Much prettier during summer but much less busy this time of year. Surprised by lack of Xmas lights
