(VB) Ongoing Volleyball Thread

Bre Kelli is a force for Pitt. We lost a good one when she left.
She followed her football boyfriend, but I don't like it.
She is only listed as a sophomore, which is surprising.

 

I have volleyball season tickets and have attended all home matches this year. You?

 

I will answer for me and Sandman.

First of all, we do not have a schedule. We generally choose the regular season over practice/exhibition.
But because of replay, the practice can be watched live, and then watch the replay.

 

Thanks for asking a question. I too have season tickets for volleyball as well as softball, gymnastics and baseball and try to attend 1 football game year since I let my football tix go after tebow left.

 

Kennedy Martin and Alexis Stucky will remain Gators. Maybe some other great players besides the ones currently on the team will join them.
Mary is the GOAT and will get her national championship as a Gator. Gonna be fun.

 

Are we going to get to see the real deal from Kyra Hutson again in 2025? I can see Kyra and Lauren sharing left pin with no drop off if Kyra gets her shoulder right.

 

That remains to be seen. I know she is still having pain in her shoulder.

 

Watching Kira all year on the sideline is worrisome as she has barely used that arm at all. It doesn't get raised above head nor is used for anything like high five, picking up a ball etc.

At Stanford was the last match we were blessed to see Kira Hutson perform in.

Kentucky handles Missouri 3-1. The sets won by both teams were not close. 1-0, 2-0 2-1, 3-1, Brooklyn Deleye had 22 kills, Emma Grome 50 assist, and 10 digs.

 

Oregon took Pitt to 5 sets with defense. Final Pitt 3 OU 2; Pitt 15 - OU 12 in 5th set

 

2 calls went against the ducks in the 5th. both should have been uo points, cost the ducks the upset.

 

The last point for Pitt’s victory looked like there might have been a Pitt touch, but the Duck’s coach had no more challenges, so point and match went to Pitt.

 

We won set 1 26 -24
