Hello everyone! Just wanted to put in one last message here as I will be leaving this forum and site permanently. Some of you might miss me, I'm sure most you will be glad to see me leave. :D

Not to be a downer during the Holidays, but I feel like my life will be coming to a conclusion sooner rather than later, so I wanted to make this post. It does make me sad, I think in hindsight I wanted my life to be so much more. No that does not mean I have an active plan currently to end my life. But I think it will happen in the coming months after the Holiday season and Trump's Inauguration. I want to make sure I get to see that historic moment! After that though, who knows, as I'm quickly losing my will to live. Trump and the Election has kept me going, but that's all concluded now.

Now that Trump has been Elected, and I won't be needed to fight for the United States against the Elite Globalists, I feel my task here is done. It's time for others to continue the fight. Many of you know the real me, the me behind the facade I try so hard to put up. But it's hard not to put up that facade as I am alone and am destined to be alone.

I'm not married. I've barely ever been able to maintain any type of relationship with a woman long term. I'm now 41 and my health is starting to really suffer. Far worse than a typical 41 year old who typically has minimum medical problems. I genuinely believe my best days are behind me and nothing but pain and suffering await me. Yes I have my family, my dad's health is declining significantly and my mom isn't any spring peach either. I fully anticipate they'll both be gone in the next 5 years. I can not imagine life without my mom. To say I would fall apart would be a complete understatement. And yes I definitely consider myself a momma's boy. But ultimately I'm alone. Like many men in their 40s, alone and invisible in our current society.

At the end of the day, no one truly relies on me. No one truly needs me. I am a nobody in this world, I don't really make a difference. No one relies on me financially. Yes if something happened to me my family and a few friends might be devastated, but they'll recover. I don't plan to actively harm myself, but I go to sleep many nights hoping I don't wake up. I enjoy nature and I could easily see myself walking into the woods one day and not returning. At least I could potentially be a meal for a bear. :emoji_joy: Society will not miss me if I'm gone.

If I had to say anything, I just feel old. I feel old and I feel worn out. I might be 41, but in my mind I might as well be 81. 40's really do s*ck. You're too old to even remotely pretend to be young, but you're no where close to being able to enjoy the golden years. And what do I have to look forward to?

I look at my mom and dad and how my sister and brother in law are taking care of them (I live out of state from them). I see that and I realize that there will be no one there to do the same for me. I'll be put in a nursing home just to rot. That's not living to me, that's waiting to die. I see how my dad is living, he's not living, he's waiting to die. I don't want that for myself. I'm not even truly in a physical, medical or mental state to really even help.

When I was in my 20s and early and mid 30s I never wanted to be married to a woman and I definitely never wanted kids. As I'm 41 now, I wouldn't have minded kids but I'm still okay not having them. But I genuinely regret never being married and having the love of a woman.

I had a few chances here and there but I either never took advantage of them or screwed them up. My last opportunity was just late last year and earlier this year. A woman I always had feelings for became single again and we reconnected. But I didn't know she was single for sure and by the time I did, she was already dating someone else. She was probably my last hope for finding love. And you all want to know the real kick to the b*lls? She's dating a guy who has the exact same name for me. You can imagine how wonderful that is to see on her Facebook and Instagram accounts.

As I leave this forum, I wish all of you the best. I know I came off as a complete d*ck a lot of the time, and many times I truly was. I enjoyed debating many of you all. The lesson I would give to you all, and it's a lesson I wish I had learned earlier in my life, is to try to be kind to those around you. Be kind, so many of our arguments in life just aren't worth it. I genuinely wish that all of you have a wonderful Christmas. I'll stay around here for a little while to respond to any comments, but this will be the last topic I comment on when it comes to this site. It's been a pleasure! And for the Conservatives on here, keep fighting the good fight! :)

You generally find what you are looking for. Rather than pain, sickness and death I hope you can look for strength, a future and life.

Dude. You need to do something different to get out of your funk. Walk around the block. Mow the grass, rake leaves, pull weeds. Do at least one such task every day. Even small accomplishments can be healthfully cathartic.

You say no one depends on you so find someone(s) that would. You might not connect well for whatever reason with a lot of people, but I bet you would connect instantly with the dogs/cats/horses/turtles or any other animals at a rescue shelter. Make time to volunteer at such a shelter and you will find a whole new lease on your life, and theirs. If you like nature and animals, that might be a perfect fit for you and I bet you will build bonds that you never thought you could. Help abused animals build confidence in themselves and humans again. See some success stories when new homes are found for them. Recognize that no life or circumstances are perfect, not for animals, not for humans, but trying to help can give purpose. That might help you nurture other bonds with other people, too.

I don’t want to sound harsh.. but it’s on you. Get up and find a purpose. Volunteer at a boys and girls club, do work for habitat for humanity, adopt a pet from a shelter.
Don’t focus on what you don’t have and what you might lose. Focus on what you might gain and what you have had.
    Write your parents story down
Walk a small part of the Appalachian trail
You cannot and should not rely on others . Find your own way, your own purpose.

I can't. I'm highly allergic to dogs. Another way my body has betrayed me. Same situation with cats as well.

It's sad because I do love dogs and cats. I grew up with both and didn't become allergic until I moved away and I guess somehow lost any type of immunity. I could try volunteering but I'm not sure my body would react well. It's just so frustrating.

Just a thought about your wish to find a significant other. Flip the script. Instead of focusing on the other person, focus on being the best "you". In other words, you may think "I want to find a woman who has XYZ qualities". Then ask yourself what changes can I make in my life to DESERVE a woman with XYZ qualities, flipping how you look at it. Also ask yourself, what can I do to ensure that I do NOT find such a woman. STOP doing those things. I do wish you well.

There is some great advice in the posts above. I echo the advice on volunteering at a boys and girls club, local hospital, united way, or Salvation Army.

My wife is allergic to dogs. She gets shots in order for us to have two massive fur balls not to mention the option of hypoallergenic dogs that don't shed. I bitch about my joints. Ehlers Danlos is bad for guitar playing. Then I see videos of Django Reinhardt playing incredible runs with only two functional fingers. Just saying, most of us have been there but a defeatist mindset is generally the biggest obstacle...

First of all I would like to say the obvious - a permanent solution to a temporary problem is not the best way to handle most things. I've mentioned it maybe once or twice on here but I don't scream it from the roof tops or anything but when I was 3 years old my father killed himself. A few of my family members might as well have with regards to OD'ing as well. I can tell you with 100% certainty that you only move your pain and despair to others, it doesn't go away because you do. Those left behind are left to wonder why.. what could they have done to prevent it.. was it me? etc etc

There is always a reason to live, you just have to find what it is for you. I can't speak to not having a women in your life because I was lucky enough to find and marry my middle/high school sweetheart. Marriage isn't alway candy canes and puppy dogs either, especially if you marry a cuban women ;) (but I digress). Maybe you need to try internet dating sites for that, I know several people who have long term relationships/marriages through that. My aunt has been married to her second husband for over 20 years now and they met on AOL.

Bernese mountain dogs. Can't say enough good things about them. Amazing family pets if raised well. Females generally around 90 to 100 pounds. Males can be much bigger. Gentle giants.

Go volunteer at a food bank or soup kitchen. You will see those that are in need and get satisfaction from helping the less fortunate. It will give you purpose and show you that there are others that are worse off than yourself. It might give you some perspective.

    I wish you the best

    Blessings

If your entire life centers around a political figure, yah, you need to walk away and find actual meaning for your life.

I mean this in all sincerity: feeling like you do would benefit from therapy. It sounds like you have deeper issues that need to be addressed… and that’s okay.

Good luck... Brown noise therapy helped a friend of mine. It brings her peace of mind. I'll use it, I like it. Very soothing.

interesting. I recently started listening to green noise for sleep. Just listened to brown. I think I'll take this over green....I found myself liking the lower freq ver of green, but brown is lower....I find that more relaxing.

    I wonder if you’re depressed?
Have you ever tried calling the crisis center?
There’s a really solid one in alachua county.
I used to work there. You will always find a person to talk to anytime day or night. Excellent people on those phones.
Not only will they talk with you anytime…if requested, you’ll receive guidance for many types of resources.
For some people, hearing themselves talk through another can go a long way to finding peace.
I think you’re an interesting dude.
    Hope this helps.

    528hz frequency with soft rain.
963hz frequency with a low ocean roar are amazing for activating sleep.

I like the 963hz stuff best
