Looks like the Gasparilla bowl will be the lead in game that Friday before the first playoff game of ND versus Indiana on ESPN.

This game is terrible, but on the bright side we will hit 8 wins and hopefully win in the portal race. Go Gators!
I agree up until the respect aspect. People will not even remember who we played in this crappy bowl game, but it will get us to 8 wins and people will remember that. Those 8 wins and closing the season out with wins over LSU, Ole Miss, and FSU will help out. Go Gators!
How invested is their coach? He will be interviewing for the next two weeks. West Virginia’s ideal Neal Brown replacement may have shown his hand UNC Temptation Becomes a Curse for Jon Sumrall as Tulane Playoff Exit Leaves Fans Heartbroken
And same goes for you. Why are you here anyway? Go slither back to your Nole board. Clown is not a Gator or a Gator fan.
Nobody aside from a few fans will make a distinction between 7-5 and 8-5 with a win over Tulane, whose QB just hit the transfer portal. If you're indicating the program is going to get some kind of mythical boost from this game, I think you're mistaken. It is what it is. A meaningless bowl game that we have a 100% chance of winning (assuming Tulane's QB doesn't play). Might as well just play FSU again. More people would show up.
Lots of good news and satisfying results in recent weeks, can't complain too much ... got to suck up this dismal bowl matchup and cheer on our guys.
Usually I let you post your . . . whatever it is . . . and stay out of it but this is just insulting to Gator fans and I've had enough. Before the season started Florida was supposed to win four (4) games. If we somehow won 5 we beat the professionals' expectations. There was healthy discussion that, maybe, we could go 6-6 with this schedule and 7-5 would be unquestionably exceeding expectations. You had better believe Florida Gator fans will distinguish between 7 wins and 8 wins this year. That is DOUBLE what we were supposed to win and going to a bowl game too! We have no control over who we play in a bowl game or what any of that team's players do. If I were you, I'd reconsider your constant bashing.
Your first five words probably describe your life. Personally I will watch and enjoy the game on TV the same way I have watched every single televised Gator game since 1979.
The AP has us ranked #32. Let’s win big and try and finish the season ranked. That’s a goal we can get behind.
Well, I'm not going to celebrate a 7-5 season (or an 8-5 season), and I'm certainly not going to celebrate the fact that the professionals predicted we'd only win 4 games before the season began, but by no means am I bashing anyone who chooses to celebrate either one of those things (or both). As for insulting the fans, as you well know, I'm clearly not the only one who feels this way.
When you have to insult someone just to talk about a game played by kids, perhaps you need to check the mirror.
