I am with you on this. This matchup has gotten tiresome and I don’t think I would spend the effort to attend. Give me something different!

Presumably, these bowl matchups will be announced before the games are played? ESPN is seriously stringing this thing out...

 

Since Bama got nixed from the playoffs, CFN is saying they play Michigan in Tampa.

 

The bowl selection show is usually the Sunday after the final rankings come out. The outcomes of yesterday’s games have to be taken into account.

 

Reliaquest Bowl website has Michigan in the game but has not designated the SEC team

 

Should all be announced today. Lots to go into bowl prep for some teams especially if traveling more than a few hours. Hopefully know everything by tonight.

 

Being reported:

Texas Tech will play an SEC team in the Liberty bowl.

Duke will play an SEC team in the Gator Bowl.

Either could be Florida.

ESPN and the SEC control who goes where now.

 

Miami plays Iowa State in the Pop Tarts Bowl

the worst bowl we could’ve gotten. Less than two weeks to get in some extra practices. Interferes with portal transfer visits. Opponent with zero juice or interest. Playing a G5 or whatever team. First SEC team to have to play the bowl game…did we finish last/behind all other SEC teams to end up in this now game?

All just my own opinion but I think this bowl sucks.

ESPN/SEC determines the line-ups. SEC never does anything that favors Florida.
