Geez, I kinda mashed Key and Brown together. I was thinking of them as one guy, lol. It's tough to keep up with all the players. I think UF has players like Brown. A bigger WR like Key would actually be more of a priority, imo. We'll see, gonna be a lot of options.
I don't follow Vandy that closely but this is a bit surprising. Thought Clark Lee had those Vandy boys acting like it was one big happy family.
Regardless of how happy the family is, he is probably getting advice on what his draft stock is vs the perceived payout in the portal for proven OL and the decision was easy. Going to a school with more eyeballs might even increase the former. Has to be quite a handful of teams that will pay more in NIL than Vandy with one year remaining. It’s bad for fanbases but good for 20 year old men trying to provide themselves with a financial future.
I find your post to probably be accurately addressing the situation, or hitting the "nail" directly on the head. A little market exploration to determine NIL value perhaps? I wonder if he will give Vandy opportunities to counter?
He would be a good pickup for UF but I doubt we would spend the kind of money he wants. And, not many players are gonna want to play and substitute they way we do.

I wonder if he got any playing time last season. He burned a lot of bridges during recruiting a year ago.
We praise the culture of our program, but we’ve had nine enter the portal. Kid is probably looking for exposure, cash, or a change of scenery for a personal purpose.
