Eight years of the Montserrez(sp) girls….Good players but not top 12 team good imo. Alexis just can’t get to balls below her waist from what I last saw, defensively.

She was a superior setter before her tragic injury. Maybe one of the top 2-3 in the country. From what I saw this year, she's not the same player now. Maybe next year she'll be totally healed and in match shape to be back to her former self. But then what do we do with 2 elite setters? Her smile and enthusiasm lights up the court and I would hate to see her leave, but I think it'll either be her or Taylor Parks.

About Pitt and Dan Fisher’s team:
The Pitt volleyball program was founded in 1974, and the panther's hunter mindset is paramount to the program today. Over the years, players have engaged in organized exercises to visualize themselves as predators and incorporated their tactics into Pitt's style of play. Setters run a quick-strike offense. Hitters swing high and hard. Blockers elevate big and bold. They pummel their serves and control the pace and emotion of the game. They are loud when they take the court and loud during points. There is no hesitation. Tipping is taboo.

The guy at aTm is the same way. UF spanked the aggies this year. (shaking head) What am I missing? Who gives a crap about Pitt?
To hear this yak about numerous transfers "to better locations" from folks who have no inside sources is crazy talk.

Your dislike counts against the forum reputation of @ocalaman and not ESPN.

Many posters take their reputation seriously. Moreover, the proper etiquette for giving a negative rating like this is to explain why you gave it.

Oh come on. I won’t post shit anymore here. I’m talking about a coach and program who, if you read the last 4-5 sentences, has his girls operating at a high level, doing things cutting edge for the women’s game. You disappoint me. The end.

Where is Beason? Where is Kelly? Where is Okamore? All at better programs. If Stucky wasn't ready they should not have burned her eligibility. If they felt they had what they needed in Parks they probably would not have. Keep playing games like this with play time and eligibility you are going to get transfers. These players are arguably very key to their current teams success but for some reason they left even though they were primed to be key to our success. Sorry if Dee here, I am not going claim Tweedle Dum staus, is not all roses, I see the issues and have seen what usually happens. I for one also see us slipping further behind. Regardless of injuries, the system is stale. It's sad that we are now barely a top 25 program and schools that I never heard of in years past in volleyball are looking down on us, namely Pitt. To recognize programs that are rising and getting results every year and wanting some of those philosophies is not a bad thing. We need a kick in the ass to get this back to where we were and unfortunately I am seeing the same issues each week and each season with not much hope of change and I base that on the roster. 1 recruit this year I think? A MH? We barely set middle because either we can't pass or don't want to. Either way I also don't see better passers on the roster. The injured players are not 6 rotation players either so the passing game not getting much better next year especially with Ellie gone. Something needs a shake up or you just keep getting same results.

Gators gets the sweep of NC State, winning the 3rd set 25-13. Pretty diminant today. Hit .352 to their .135, 8 aces to 7 service errors, 42 kills to 30, 38 digs to their 28. McKissock with 13 digs, Taylor Parks with 12, along with 30 assists, 2 aces and 3 blocks. Solid game for the freshman. K. Martin with 18 kills, Izzy with 7, AC & Auguste with 6 each. Next up is probably Kansas on their home court for a trip to the Sweet 16.
