Let's see how this crew does against tourney-level competition. We haven't played any yet. I was a little surprised that we only went 8 deep against VA. Naturally the bench will shorten against tougher competition, but VA is probably middle of the pack for our schedule. Nearly every SEC team will be tougher.
Interesting thought. They are 7-2 and sitting at #63 in kenpom. I guess they could sneak in if they fare well in the ACC.
I was surprised that Klavzar didn't enter the game, especially in the last couple of minutes. I suspect it was a tactical move, because UVA's best chance of winning and rallying was by hitting 3s, and they have big guards that can get a shot off over Klavzar if needed. It's okay, he'll be in the mix as we go forward.
