Bowl projections?

My only hope about the bowl is that we have a beatable opponent and a good portion of our top tier players present.

 

Colorado and ASU are on the 2028 schedule. I hope they don't get canceled like the NC State and Cal games.

 

yep, would like to avoid a scenario where half the team opts out, the other half doesn't want to be there and we get run out of the building on national tv.

 

IDK, I see both sides. Part of me wants to face someone that will allow us to get to 8 wins. Would you rather an Oregon St. situation happen again? Not me.

 

This year we will be Oregon St and show up in mass with an attitude for the game

This would be my best case scenario to play in the ReliaQuest, but not against Michigan.

 

I wouldn't be against playing the defending champs. Bring 'em on!

 

This team looks like a group that has something to prove. I think, or at least hope, we’ll have a mostly complete team for the bowl game. Guys who are transferring will more than likely be out, and should be, imo (at least ones who’ve already announced). I don’t see a lot of selfish upperclassmen on this team that will bail on their boys. I’m fairly optimistic that our draft eligible guys will leave it all on the field, and try to get that one last W before they move on. Injuries aside, of course.

We’ll see though. My crystal ball is still misplaced.

 

A game vs Michigan draws eyeballs nationally and raises the profile of our program. WSU, Syracuse, and Duke don't.

 

I believe we have unfinished business with Michigan. (Speaking as a survivor of the game in Dallas.)

 

So sick of Michigan, we beat them into the ground the last time we played, lets leave it at that and play someone new.

 

Won't happen but I'd love to see us play the Leghorns.

Minnesota and GT should be tough againt their opponents, if not each other.

 

Beat them in the peach bowl in Atlanta.

 

Just give me a win and very few opt outs. I’ll take Syracuse or Duke. Nobody will remember who you played but they will remember if you won. 8-5, 4 game winning streak. Yes please.

That was sweet ... but that made us 1-4 vs. them. More pain needed.

 

Most of this isn’t possible. Both Memphis (Frisco bowl) and USF (Hawaii bowl) have already accepted invites to bowl games.

 

I'm curious about the behind the scenes... Does UF have a choice if 2 or more bowls want us ? Does the SEC require us to take biggest payout?
