...and you can't have life, without intelligence.

Inanimate matter doesn’t organize spontaneously into the complexity of life, and continually reorganize and perpetuate itself accidentally, over and over again, on dumb luck.

Ok then, what intelligence made the intelligence that created life? It just magic, I guess.

A lot of democratic voters stayed home. Others voted (R) out of frustration. “Falling in love” here is more about motivating them.

Republicans? Mostly stayed loyal. Largely remain lock-step behind their leader.

I see life without intelligence everyday on this board, a lot of it in the posts you make ;)

In defense of Democrat messaging which is God awful.. its much harder to sell a message of governance than it is to sell a message of blame and hate.

This just demonstrates how useless the adage is, since anyone can basically interpret it as they see fit

Absolutely. Still, “we want you to be able to unionize,” among other things, should be pretty simple. Alas…

I mean, the Democrats can actually blame people while promoting good governance. I realize that would involve pissing off their donors and imaginary centrists they base their messaging on, but its not either/or.

Biden was extremely pro-Union and they voted for the guy who wants to end overtime pay. Governance isnt a sellable vision. Needs to be an emotional lie... like a commercial for a shaving cream that makes you look like a ripped model or voting for a billionaire anti-union moron who wants to end overtime pay.

Well governance that is like "things are fine, we arent going to do anything much for you except not make it worse" isnt really sellable in certain environments. "Governance" is an abstraction without some kind of vision for what that means, and who's interests you are acting on against. You cant be all things to everyone and have a coherent message.

The plaform doesnt suck. It's just not interesting as expelling all brown people and making trans people piss in their pants.

After reading a lot of online comments on this story, I think it's less "French Revolution" and more "V for Vendetta" vibes.

I mean, its a choice not to make it interesting IMO. Its sort of like selling me car with a list of factory specs and saying "this baby sells itself." Its ok to tell me hot chicks will want to have sex with me if you buy the car.

I mean, it wouldn’t make sense to our chimp brains, but I don’t know that to be true as of yet, and before we even get to the complexity, we need to understand how the inanimate came to be..

It’s all wild regardless of what you choose to believe..

Could also be intentional. A gun not cycling allows the spent casings to remain captured.

Any semi auto is gonna accomplish that. Revolvers don’t

You have that backwards. A revolver retains the spent shell casings until manually ejected.

I could see an individual juror buying a legit “John Q” situation and causing a hung jury. But if the guy was just some whack job or his “victimization” at the hands of an insurer falls short, then no I don’t think a jury would be sympathetic just because of who the victim is. There are pictures of killer’s face now, so it would be surprising if he isn’t caught pretty soon.

Well I was wrong about the gun. It is a single shot 9mm pistol with a magazine. I didnt even know anyone made one. It is a Station Six 9 made by B&T USA and has a option for a suppressor. I would guess it is designed to be suppressed and that is why it is a single shot with a rotating bolt.

Probably makes it pretty easy to track down ownership
