Him basically admitting he is chasing bags. That is exactly why I was ok with his personality entering our locker room.

 

Hard to fault anyone in this situation for not going for as much money as they can as early as they can. They are one injury away from never making a dime off of football.

 

Wow, bet LSU fans are thrilled to hear that.

 

Chaos wasn't the recruiter I expected here either, so not surprised, and it took Bateman a while to get us the two studs Graham and Chiles at LB. I think we are better with who we have now development-wise. Overall, I wouldn't count out Elko as coming good at aTm in the next few years. Even with the loss of some talented defensive players in the portal, he had as good a defense as their successful one the previous year. Offense is where he is going to have to prove he is better than Jimbo. He had two talented qb, a great rb and solid OL.

 

Can see him not doing a thing at lsu and being a portal out after the end of next season.

 

Glad we didn't get him....he sounds like a locker room cancer just waiting to happen.

 

Disappointed but not surprised. LSU has the best NIL program and some perhaps most of the really elite recruits follow the money.

FSU just flipped two 4 stars today. One from LSU and one from ole Miss. signing class getting better and now in top 20 range.

Coach Chaos is an acquired taste. Noticed two TAM DL have entered the portal now

 

On paper, this is a very good get but on the field, this is a Grantham move. 6'5" 215 lb edge rusher?

fsu is so far gone that they could have kept their September 1st recruiting class and it still would not help them.

 

What does he have to lose? They still can't fire him after next season. His buyout was thing of beauty (for him and his agent).

 

Money isn't everything. If next year is as disastrous as it should be, he might want to negotiate his contract down to feasibly be bought out for his and his family's personal safety.
